Chanukah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods.

The Hebrew word Chanukah means “dedication,” and is thus named because it celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple. At the heart of the festival is the nightly menorah lighting, and other celebrations include the serving of special foods, playing dreidel games, and the giving of Chanukah gelt.

We hope you will join us for this year's festivities!

  • Thursday, December 14 - Community Chanukah Party
  • Sunday, December 17 - Home Depot Dreidel Workshop
  • Tuesday, December 19 - 5th Annual Giant Menorah Lighting @ Pacific Commons
