Wow! What an awesome first day at Camp Gan Israel! Non-stop fun beginning with waffles, Jew-Jams and Tefilah. The CIT's had an exclusive bowling trip while the main division had funshops and Ginger the Balloon Twister. Funshops is a time in camp where the campers choose from sports, cooking, engineering and sports. After a delicious lunch we went to Aqua Adventure for an afternoon of swimming, splashing & sliding. After refreshing popsicles we went back to camp and ended the day with Mad Science! Yes! all in ONE day at CGI, the camp that never ever stops having fun!
Today Great America was looking very purple! The campers had an awesome time on all the rides and enjoyed building friendships wit one another. At CGI, we're committed to providing our campers with a super safe experience. We are grateful to our staff for taking such wonderful care of our campers and to the extra chaperones today!
At Gan Izzy, there's not a lot of sitting still and today was not an exception. We spent our day climbing, rolling, jumping and getting messy! After Jew Jams, the main division of CGI had gymnastics while the CIT's planned and set up a carnival. The carnival was so much fun and ended with our counselors covered in shaving cream. After lunch we headed to Rockin Jump Trampoline Park and had a Rockin' Time! In the words of a camper: "I thought it would be fun here, but I never knew it was possible to have SO much fun!"
Just when you thought things couldn't get more fun, along comes another day at CGI.... The day began with awesome studios, and then it was time for our Color Run! Everyone had a blast spraying each other, and getting super colorful. Thursday's trip was Pump it Up and it was our favorite trip yet. We bounced and bounced and ended the day with a balloon drop and Glow in the Dark DANCE PARTY!!
Fridays are for foam!!!!!!!! Friday began with Challah Baking and Shabbat Crafting. And then it was time to get super foamy. There is seriously nothing like playing in mountains of foam. After our Matzah Ball Soup it was time to thank the Firefighters for everything they do for our community. We gave them our beautiful cards and even got to tour the station. On Friday Evening the campers and their families joined together for a beautiful and delicious Shabbat Dinner. THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING STAFF FOR MAKING THE FIRST WEEK OF CGI SUCH AN AMAZING SUCCESS!
