Goodness Grows in Fremont - a Tu Be'shvat celebration

  • Work together to grow a better world. Learn about your power to make an impact and uplift the world, while building a community Tree of Giving. Design, paint and fill this masterpiece tree with carved leaves sharing your ideas of the different ways you can spread goodness and kindness. Create your own "Goodness Garden" to plant at home and continue spreading the goodness!
Part 1 - Wood Leaf Painting: After a discussion to explore the theme and what it means, each child will get their own wooden leaf to paint and finish it off by writing or drawing a picture of their way that they will affect the world positively.
Part 2 - Seed Bomb Making: While their leaves dry a bit, each child will make their own seed bomb to take home and plant their own "Goodness Garden".
Part 3 - Tree of Giving Ceremony: The program will end with a small ceremony to assemble the community “Tree of Giving".
