From the Shtetl to America: the secret to Jewish longevity

  • It’s hard to find a place on the map Jews haven’t been to. Some of those places we went to willingly; others, we were exiled to. Many times, we arrived fleeing blood libels and massacres. And, with a history filled with so many enemies and so many cultural changes, we have to ask:

    What keeps us going?

Because we don’t look the same we used to. We don’t talk or dress the way we did in the Shtetl. We sing different songs, eat different foods, tell different stories. But at heart, we haven’t changed. No matter how much the world has tried to stamp us out, that Jewish spark has proven unconquerable.

On December 22 nd , discover the secret to our seemingly-unstoppable longevity in this class.
